This programme has been updated for the new ICF Credentialing Process to include the required Coach Evaluation Sessions
A 5-month ICF-accredited coach development and mentoring programme designed to help you gain your credential and develop true coaching mastery.
If you’re a qualified coach who wants to take your coaching to the next level, develop greater confidence in how you coach and work towards your ACC or PCC credential, then this programme is for you.
It combines Coach Development Training, ICF Mentor Coaching, Coaching Review Sessions and individual evaluation, all grounded in the ICF Core Competencies and designed to help you grow and develop as a coach.
Furthermore, with the changes to the ICF credentialing process, I’ve updated the programme so that even more of the support you need is now included.
What makes my Coach Development and Mentoring Programme different is that the focus is very much on nurturing and developing you as a coach.
Yes, we explore the ICF Core Competencies in depth and you’ll develop your understanding of what they look and sound like at ACC and PCC level, but I don’t want you simply learning how to “do ICF coaching”.
I want you to become a more confident, accomplished coach who can work flexibly with the person in front of you.
You’ll have opportunities to look closely at your own coaching, experiment, practise and receive feedback so that you can recognise what’s already working well and where you can develop further.
Over time, you’ll find yourself relying less on tools and models, worrying less about finding the “right” question and becoming much more able to trust yourself and the coaching conversation.
The programme provides 40 ICF CCEUs and the required 10 hours of ICF Mentor Coaching, with me as an ICF Master Certified Coach and Mentor Coach Specialist at ACC, PCC and MCC levels.
It also now includes additional Coaching Review Sessions and three individual 1-to-1 Coaching Evaluation Sessions, in line with the changes to the ICF Credentialing Process.
I know that many coaches are apprehensive about ICF.
You may want the credential and the professional credibility that comes with it, but perhaps you’re wondering whether your coaching will be good enough, whether everyone else will be better than you, or what will happen when someone actually listens closely to your coaching!
I’ve heard all of those worries many times.
My role is to demystify the process, help you understand what ICF is looking for and give you honest, supportive feedback as your coaching develops.
By the end of the programme, I want you to have much more than an understanding of the competencies. I want you to have greater confidence in yourself as a professional coach and in your ability to coach whoever sits in front of you.
I bring together everything I’ve learned from my experience as an ICF Master Certified Coach, ICF Certified Assessor, Mentor Coach Specialist and Advanced Skills Teacher to create a programme that is rigorous, supportive and very practical.
I’m proud of the fact that 100% of the coaches I’ve mentored who have submitted for their ICF Credential have been successful first time.
I’m passionate about coaching and about supporting coaches to grow and develop, and I’d love to support you in becoming the coach you want to be.

"Wow Cath! I am blown away by your incredible teaching and mentoring style. It is so lovely. So powerful. So informative. So supportive. So everything I would hoped it would be."
“I’d totally endorse working with Cath. Having worked with other ICF mentors and supervisors for years, it was Cath’s guidance that got me over the line to submit my application.”
This takes place over a period of five calendar months and combines group sessions, individual work with me and self-study.
It includes the following live sessions:
- 5 x 2-hour Group Coach Development and Mentor Coaching Sessions
- 3 x 2-hour Extended Coach Practice Development Sessions
- Additional Coaching Review Sessions
- 3 x individual 1-to-1 Evaluation Sessions
- Individual summary review session
- Credential Preparation Session (2 hours) for those applying for their credential
- Exam Preparation Session (2 hours)
- Open Forum session (2 hours) to ask any outstanding questions
In our group sessions we explore the ICF Core Competencies in depth and, crucially, what they actually look like in a coaching conversation.
We'll look at coaching at different credential levels and you'll have plenty of opportunities to practise, observe coaching and receive direct feedback from me.
I don't want you simply knowing the competencies. I want you to begin recognising them naturally in your own coaching and understanding the difference that seemingly small shifts can make.
These sessions give us even more opportunity to concentrate on your coaching.
We'll explore particular aspects of the Core Competencies, you'll see coaching demonstrated and you'll have opportunities to practise and experiment, with feedback as you go.
This is where you can try things out without worrying about getting them "right".
One of the best ways to develop your coaching is to actually look at your coaching.
In the additional Coaching Review Sessions you will practise your coaching in real time and get immediate dynamic feedback from me.
We'll explore what you're doing well, what you may not have noticed and where another choice might have opened up a different conversation.
The programme now also includes three individual 1-to-1 evaluation sessions.
These form part of the updated ICF credentialing pathway.
We'll use these sessions to evaluate your coaching against the appropriate ICF standard and give you clear feedback on what is being demonstrated.
Because your evaluation sits within the wider programme, it isn't something that suddenly happens at the end after months of wondering whether you're ready.
Your coaching has been developing, reviewed and supported throughout.
For those applying for their credential, I'll take you through the application process so that you understand exactly what you need to do.
We'll also look at the ACC Exam, and the ICF Credentialing Exam, work through exemplar questions and talk about the thinking behind the best and worst responses.
You'll also have the opportunity to ask all those questions you've been saving up!
In addition to your live sessions with me, you’ll have access to your own Coach Development and Mentoring Resource Hub.
This includes recordings of the group sessions, training masterclasses and exercises, examples of coaching at different credential levels and over 50 additional resources to help you deepen your understanding and continue developing between sessions.
You have access to the hub for a month after the programme is completed.
The next Coach Development and Mentoring programme (for ACC, ACC Renewal and PCC applicants) will start in November 2026
All sessions take place on the Tuesdays at 5-7pm (UK time), except for those specified, as I will be delivering from Australia.
Dates for next programme:
The number of places is limited to a maximum of 6 so that everyone has plenty of opportunity to coach, contribute and receive individual feedback from me.
“At the beginning I was worried that my skills as a coach weren’t good enough and I had been getting things wrong and I was going to be exposed. You explained what was different between OOM and what ICF expected i.e. non directional coaching and provided the practical support, advice and feedback that I needed. You helped me to understand what was required to be a successful ICF coach and a successful coach for my clients and gave me the confidence to apply for my ICF Credential.”
“I signed up for mentoring with Cath to get feedback and guidance so I can improve as a coach. I wholeheartedly recommend Cath as an ICF mentor. If anyone is thinking about working with Cath, I’d say go for it. It will not only give you the mentoring required but also will make you feel so much better about yourself as a coach.
Cath is knowledgeable, professional, and has a great balance of being firm and yet compassionate. Thank you, Cath, for helping me on my journey to become the coach I always wanted to be.”
If you’re reading this and thinking that this sounds like the sort of mentoring and development experience you’re looking for, let’s have a conversation.
You can book a complimentary call with me to talk about where you are with your coaching, the credential you’re working towards and whether the programme is the right fit for you.
“Cath is a thoughtful and powerful coach and mentor. She helped progress my coaching skills exponentially in a short amount of time. She is well-versed in International Coaching Federation principles and a master at teaching others how best to incorporate them into their coaching skills. I highly recommend working with Cath!”
